Tnsaemedhin Aberra

The author of this book, the poet, writer and translator Tnsaemed-hin Aberra (*1990), grew up in Bahr Dar in northern Ethiopia and de-veloped an enthusiasm for literature at an early age. After her school years, she studied English and literature at the University of Gondär and in 2005 she presented a well-received book of poetry. For several years, Tnsaemedhin Aberra has been writing a biography as well as a novel. She is also translating Eleanor Hodgman Porter's children's book Pollyanna (1913) from English into Amharic.
